How We Got There — Celebrating Women
In December, Bahrain celebrates Women’s Day to recognize the remarkable achievements and contributions of Bahraini women. In honor of this occasion, General Assembly Bahrain is organizing a series of highly anticipated panel discussions, workshops, and inspirational stories under the theme of, “How We Got There — Celebrating Bahraini Women.”
These meticulously curated sessions will highlight the accomplishments of Bahraini women across various domains, with a particular focus on the tech industry.
And while these sessions aim to empower and inspire women, it’s important to acknowledge that the subject matter scope often extends beyond gender. As such, all are welcome to attend and participate, regardless of gender. The discourse will encompass universal professional obstacles and provide valuable insights to a diverse audience.
Panel Discussions: Insights and Inspiration
Three panel discussions will feature accomplished and influential women working in the tech industry and span a diverse range of topics. These conversations are designed to provide insights, inspiration, and strategies for success:
- Empowering Women in the Workforce: Insights and Strategies for Recruitment and Success — December 3.
- Women Entrepreneurs: Inspiring Experiences, Challenges, and Tips for Success — December 10.
- Women in Tech: Navigating Challenges and Shaping the Future — December 24.
By bringing together accomplished women who’ve overcome challenges and achieved success, these panel discussions will help alleviate the doubts and uncertainties that people often encounter as they journey into the tech industry. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn from these inspirational women and gain valuable advice for their own unique journeys. The discussions will also shed light on future job prospects and emerging market trends within the technology sector, emphasizing the importance of technology in our professional and personal lives.
