Ryan Snelson
Design Entrepreneur
Ryan has been creating fun and useful products for over 15 years. With a focus on native mobile and social, his classes reflect a natural curiosity about human behavior, and a passion to help others sharpen their product design potential. Ryan has held positions as startup Co-founder, Head of Product and UX for Citymaps, UX Designer on Google Search, and Mobile UX Lead at Myspace. In 2016 he lead the design of a 360 action camera and social app for a major electronics company.
Drawing from a background in interaction design and tech, Ryan encourages others to imagine blue-sky concepts that are rooted in reality. He holds a BFA in design from the School of Visual Arts, and is a Product Studio Crit Advisor at Cornell Tech. Currently Ryan is pursuing augmented reality concepts, and riding motos, bicycles, and boards. His latest project is an iMessage Sticker App for text addicts.
