If you live in the city of Seattle or are just curious about how the local school board elections work, come join us to learn the basics and meet some of the candidates running in this summer’s primary.
This event is hosted by the Teach for America WA Alumni Board and is the first in a series of monthly learning events. The event is open to anyone, not just TFA alumni.
Event Agenda 6:30-7:00pm: Check In and Networking. 7:00-7:15pm: Presentation. Learn the basics Seattle School Board Election basics. 7:15-7:30pm: Meet the Candidates. Hear from each candidate about key issues and ways to get involved. 7:30-8:30pm: Networking.
