Often considered design’s unicorn skill, UX writing is the art of designing with words to engage users as they navigate apps and digital products. Good copy enables users to have optimal interactions with the products, thereby elevating the user experience.
As products go global, there is a greater focus on designing an inclusive and accessible product for anyone and everyone. Gain an understanding of why localisation matters, why we should design for all use cases and how empathy can be applied to content design.
Whether you’re new to the world of UX or a seasoned designer, this workshop will help provide a good overview of this essential skill. Join our expert UX writer as we break down the foundations of good UX writing, learn how to leverage your current skill sets, and advocate for UX writing in your workplace.
NOTE: this class will not be recorded, however, slides will be sent within 7 days following the session.
Gayle thinks like a designer, but crafts with words. Be it chatbots or UI copy, she takes a data-driven approach to shape an engaging user journey across digital touchpoints. She is also a champion of accessible, inclusive design, and is excited about the future of conversational AI.
In her 14+ years of experience, she has worked in health tech, entertainment, F&B and banking, and helped launch the first contactless credit card in Singapore in 2007.
Gayle also gives back as a design mentor on ADPList.org, a global mentorship initiative for the UX community.
