About This Workshop

This workshop will be hosted online (Livestream) due to safety considerations, please check out the "Preparation" section on the bottom of this page. Registered participants will be notified in advance of this program with information on how to log in to the workshop.

Do you feel like you are constantly behind on your workload, with not enough time to get through your to-do list? Are you overwhelmed and feel like the demands of work and life have taken the excitement out of the everyday?

In this workshop, we will focus on how to move from being busy and overloaded to productive and effective. We will also identify actionable, evidence-based strategies to find more value in the hours you spend at work and to feel less stressed on and off the job.

Takeaways

  • Practical stress-relief strategies to manage both short-term and long-term stress.
  • How to acknowledge and cope with negative emotions as they come up.
  • Tangible tools to increase productivity and focus.

Preparation

  • This class is taken completely online via Zoom and Slack.
  • You will need access to a laptop or computer with a working webcam and microphone as well as a strong internet connection.
  • Course set up information will be emailed to all students signed up around 48 hours before (and again an hour before) the course launches.
  • If you cannot attend live, don’t fret! The recording will be sent out to everyone.

About the Instructor

Julia Franckh Photo

I am a psychologist passionate about understanding human behaviours and implementing applied evidence-based strategies to create meaningful design solutions that resonate with its audience.

My approach calls upon a broad range of interdisciplinary practices, as well as methods I’ve learned while pursuing my bachelors in cognitive science and my masters in social psychology, both completed at Brown University.

I am based in London and work for Happiness House, a personal development platform. I also run my own company, Let Me Be Franckh, and work as a Lead UXD Instructor at General Assembly.
