Join this vision-building workshop for Filipino diaspora. Before we can create a shared vision, we first have to have a shared identity. The workshop will aim to answer the question: “What does it mean to be a Filipino?” The workshop is one-part learning, one-part celebration of all things Filipino. We will have some inspiring music and art to share as well as an abbreviated walk-through of Filipino history of things you weren’t taught in school. Then we will have facilitated breakout discussions to answer the question: “What is the Filipino-American Dream?” The goal of the workshop is to instill pride in our history, define an identity, and forge a path forward.
