About this event

Amp it Up. Join Forces. Succeed together.

The number of women-owned businesses providing excellent goods and services has increased significantly. These firms make significant contributions to the economy, but still, disparities exist. The '2017 Small Business Administration’s Office of Advocacy Issue Brief’ reported:

Despite women business owners’ successes, their businesses lag in revenue and employment. For every dollar of revenue, an average women-owned employer business earns, a male-owned business earns $2.30. For every 10 employees at a women-owned business, a male-owned business employs 15.

Join us to learn how the Women’s Business Enterprise Council Pacific collaborates with corporations, government entities, and woman-owned businesses to drive economic growth and development for women business enterprises. Along with certification, WBEC-Pacific provides events and educational programs that help create opportunities for women business owners looking to build business acumen, cultivate networks, and grow their businesses through contracting with corporations, government agencies, and other women business enterprises. Together, as a community, our partners promote equity in procurement practices and provide equitable opportunities.

Our expert panelists will share firsthand experience on benefits of Women’s Business Enterprise Council Pacific and the WBENC Certification from both a corporate and women business owner perspective.
