    About this event

Leaders in the *LGBTQIA2+ will speak to what it means to be allies to *BIPOC in our current world, as well as how to uplift BIPOC voices in the LGBTQIA2+ community and beyond.

This event will focus on allyship, activism, and advocacy within the LGBTQIA2+ community for BIPOC members. We'll discuss how abolitionism and the Civil Rights Movement paved the way for LGBTQIA2+ rights, and the disproportionate impact of violence, public health crises, and economic insecurity on queer BIPOC individuals. We will also talk about how we can use our platforms, privilege, and support to create equity and opportunity for them.

Join us for an honest, vulnerable, and real conversation with change leaders in the space.

*LGBTQIA2 stands for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Questioning, Intersex, Asexual, Two-Spirit community

*BIPOC stands for Black, Indigenous and People of Color
