Whether you have experience in social media or are looking to get started for the first time, this workshop will put you on the fast track to honing your social media skills. In this bootcamp, students will be introduced to the current social media landscape and explore how it can be used for maximum results for brands. Are you ready to learn the tricks, tips and techniques businesses are using to build brands and sell more on social?

If this class is recorded, students will be sent the recording link within 7 days after class completion by email. Students are encouraged to download and save any shared materials (worksheets, deck if applicable) during class for later reference as they are not be shared by email.

Students will leave with a detailed understanding of both the current social media landscape and how to evaluate which social platforms, social marketing techniques, and paid social advertising methods are the best fit for their organization's goals.
Case studies and tactics will be presented throughout the session and students will gain hands on knowledge through breakout sessions.

Nicole Solis-Sison serves as creative director for Matter Media Group, an influencer management firm and chief executive officer/founder of Zero Waste Cart, an application centered on preventing textile waste. She has also developed virtual and augmented reality applications for companies like Gap and Google and has shown works at Yerba Buena Center of the Arts in San Francisco, California. Equity, diversity and sustainability are integral to her work in changing the way we view and engage in our communities Her understanding of digital trends and media production coupled with strategic content marketing enables her to move and shift through various industries. Digital marketing empowers the ability to create conversation and stir innovation within communities. Sharing insights and cultivating creativity are the motivating factors of nurturing the conversation through education.
