Yvette has loved and lived sport forever now have fallen into surfing, a sport that she wants to help grow, especially for women and girls at grassroots level and being able to offer a pathway into coaching, elite level surfing and of course fun!

She has founded Wave Wahines, a surf club that enable girls access to surfing at an affordable cost and in a nurturing environment.

Surf club coach there, she has also been a personal trainer for numerous years, trained up and coming elite surfers and worked at Surfing england!
