Singapore

Yishu had thought that design and technology were silos in which she pursed separately, but feverishly. After getting her first computer, Yishu made wallpapers on Microsoft Paint, designed magazine layouts on WordPad and crafted custom blog themes on Dreamweaver.

Majoring in Electrical Engineering in University, Yishu spent most of her time writing code, only to specialise in Human Computer Interaction (HCI) in her last year. Things started falling into place when Yishu started working as a mobile engineer and UX designer at an agency following her graduation, where she got to work with clients such as McDonald's, StarHub and Sony. She then took on the role of Product Lead at local startup Viddsee, where she led the team in both design and development work.
