Ying Wei is an independent UX consultant, where she helps clients to discover new product and service opportunities that support the needs and behaviours of their target users or customers. Her work covers designing solutions in education, business management, human resource, marketing, and home appliances for clients, ranging from startups to large international organisations.
Ying Wei has worked with companies like EF Kids and Teens, EF Lab, SEEK Asia and Radica. Before this, she was a product designer at Autodesk, a Master student in interaction design at Kookmin University Korea, a UX researcher at jobsDB (SEEK Asia), an information architect at HaA Design Consultancy, a UX Team Lead at a Malaysia startup and a Digital Artist in Singapore.
Motivated by her outgoing and cheerful personalities, she has lived and worked in different Asia countries such as Singapore, Seoul, China, Hong Kong and Malaysia. Outside of work, she enjoys travel, coffee and sunshine.
