I graduated from the University of Chicago where I studied Applied Math and Statistics. After graduation, I worked under Rayid Gahni, President Obama's Chief Scientist, to data mine earmarks from congressional bills. In industry, I've built data products to predict home valuations and renovation costs and applied deep learning for diagnoses of medical imagery. I enjoy thinking about how we can augment human learning using machine learning. I am excited to help shape Data Science education through GA and empower up and coming Data Scientists to build useful data products.
