Vesselin is the Head of Data Science and AI at DV, with 15 years of Industry experience building AI-driven products in a variety of industries – Fintech, HighTech, Retail, Healthcare, Industrial, Entertainment.
He joined DV in July 2017 and has been heading the AI efforts in several ventures in the areas of emotion detection, computer vision, personalization, and OCR.
Prior to that, Vesselin was at Microsoft, leading a team of data scientists who built the cloud Azure Machine Learning product offering, as well several of the Cognitive Services APIs on Azure – for personalization and text analytics (NLP). All of which are currently used by hundreds of Enterprises around the world.
Vesselin has M.S./Ph.D. degrees in Computer Science and an MBA with focus on start-ups.
Vesselin is a holder of 6 patents.
