Veleisa has always been fascinated with storytelling, which is why she is a student of communication. She owns her own marketing firm, Narrative Evolution where she helps companies by using a combination of real-world skills and theory-based knowledge - aspects she includes in her practice as a yoga instructor, too.

Her background is in in hospitality and tourism, where the human element of desire for new spaces and faces is front and center. Her audiences have included customers and media (external) and employees and leadership (internal). She blogs and loves a good brand story. She watches the digital space and how it’s changing business and mostly, she learns. She is fascinated by human nature, the ways people learn and the ways we communicate.

Veleisa has a standing goal of traveling more because she loves culture and wants to live like a local.

Yoga is her passion and she enjoys bringing healing and health to students. Her weakness: baked goods.
