    One could say that Phu’s rise began when he worked at some of the finest dining establishments in America- Acquerello, Daniel and Chez Panisse.

    However, Phu had a yearning to cook with the practices, ingredients, techniques, and flavors of his Vietnamese heritage. The concept began as a pop-up in 2015. Soon thereafter, he was named 2017 San Francisco Chronicle named him Rising Star Chef and most recently a featured contestant on Bravo's Top Chef.

    But the contribution to his success wasn’t just limited to his ability to formulate an exceptional dining experience. Phu acquires the attention of his diners and critics with an aggressive grassroots campaign, using social media platforms [I.e., Facebook, Tweeter and Instagram] to tune into the demographic that reflected his guest list.
