Stephanie is a strategist and researcher specialising in Placemaking and urban development. She is passionate about creating places that are contextually smart, commercially viable and that culturally enrich people’s lives. Stephanie brings a diverse skill-set to her consulting work, coming from a background in interior architecture, environment design and service design research.

Based in Sydney, Stephanie is a freelancer working at both Futurecity and Brickfields Consulting. Joining the Futurecity team in London, Stephanie has worked across local and international cultural strategies, including the a strategy for Australian Technology Park, the future positioning of the iconic Wembley Park, as well as regeneration projects which reimagine suburban and urban living in both London and Sydney. Stephanie has also facilitated workshops in makerspaces and defining the needs of London’s creative practitioners.

At Brickfields Consulting, a Sydney-based property innovation consultancy – Stephanie has worked on a number of precinct positioning strategies, place value propositions and customer experience audits for Australia and New Zealand’s leading developers; AMP, QIC, GPT and EDQ. Stephanie has also led Brickfields’ intelligence reports on Evolving Learning Spaces, Wellbeing Spaces and contributed to The Place Reports 2016 and 2015.

Stephanie also has a passion for education and teaches at the University of Technology in Sydney in the Bachelor of Creative Intelligence and Innovation, and subjects in socially responsive design.
