    Director of Business Development, Kanarys

    Dallas

Stacey Guillen (she/her/hers) is an advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) as the Director of Business Development of Kanarys, Inc. Kanarys is a technology platform that fosters collaboration between companies and employees on DEI in the workplace. Kanarys allows individual contributors to anonymously rate, review and submit surveys on diversity and inclusion at their current and former employers. Data from submissions is analyzed through artificial intelligence and natural language processing, allowing partner companies to better understand the challenges and opportunities facing them and to build a more inclusive workplace culture. Company partners are able to measure performance against DEI benchmarks and identify areas of improvement and growth, by gathering and analyzing cultural and demographic data, industry rankings and trends. Kanarys has been covered by Forbes, CNBC, AfroTech, Business Insider and HR.com and was recently selected to join the Google for Startups Accelerator: Black Founders class. Stacey’s interest in DEI began early in her career when she helped create culture and inclusive professional development opportunities at a large healthcare system. She then held the role of Head of Partnership Development for a large Latinx Professional organization and worked with companies to help source diverse talent opportunities. Stacey earned her Bachelor of Science from Cornell University. She resides in Dallas, Texas and is an avid traveler.
