Shibani Rai is the California Head of She Loves Data, a global non-profit organization that inspires women to pursue careers in data and technology. She launched the US Chapter of She Loves Data in Los Angeles in May 2018. Shibani also serves as a Co-Lead of Women in Big Data SoCal, a regional MeetUp with 1500+ members which is part of a global organization. Through these organizations, she provides mentorship, training, conducts workshops and organizes events in California.
At her day job as a Data Analyst / Consultant, Shibani has provided cutting edge analytical solutions to organizations across Australia and the United States. In her free time you'll find her outside on a hike or learning something new - currently Spanish and the guitar
