Shawn is a Senior Product Consultant at Tableau and acts as a technical resource for business users and IT teams who are just getting started with data visualization, as well as those who have been long time Tableau customers and are looking to expand their use cases of interacting with data to make decisions across their organizations. Shawn comes from a consulting background in enterprise software implementations at IBM and has prior experience with GIS software and mobility in the oil and gas industry. In his time at Tableau, he has worked with hundreds of customers from almost every industry and enjoys helping people find cool ways to avoid using pie charts.
