Sharon Ow is the Global Learning & Development Director at Essilor, where she helms global and regional learning initiatives. Her career of 18 years has been a deep dive in management development and learning design, with a focus on leadership and organisation development. A peek into her current work life sees her providing learning and development advisory to business leaders, leading global roll-outs of digital or in-person leadership programs, and coaching talents.
Sharon also has deep experience in the Public Sector, where she was Lead Consultant at the Institute of Leadership and Organisation Development at the Civil Service College. She designed and developed bespoke consulting solutions for organisations and senior leadership teams, including engagement with government institutions in China, Abu Dhabi and Vietnam.
Sharon holds an Executive Master of Change at INSEAD. Her experience at INSEAD contributed to her being drawn to facilitating impactful conversations that lead to personal insights and real change – a fundamental part of her work as a leadership development practitioner.
Alongside her professional role, Sharon is also a wife, mother and community leader. She is thankful for the inspiration and delight that her two daughters give her, and strives to stay centred and grounded, in order to fulfil both personal and professional priorities.
