Sharon Lee Thony

Corporate Director of Marketing, Triumph Hotels // CEO, STK MKT Entertainment

New York City

Sharon Lee Thony is the Corporate Director of Marketing at Triumph Hotels, a collection of seven historic hotels across Manhattan. In this role, she is responsible for developing and leading the company’s marketing strategy and brand presence with the goal of growing direct bookings through innovative and high-performance digital, PR, and social media campaigns.

She’s also co-founder and CEO of STK MKT Entertainment, a multimedia company dedicated to developing and curating artistic, social-conscious and entertaining content across music, film, TV and technology. As if that wasn’t enough, Sharon spends many evenings as a favorite digital marketing instructor @ General Assembly.

Sharon began her career as an account executive at top advertising agencies like Saatchi & Saatchi + McCann-Erickson, working directly with client brands like P&G, Unilever, Mastercard, and Johnson & Johnson. She later joined Unilever marketing to work on personal care brands like Caress, Lever 2000, Q-tips, Axe, Dove, Snuggle, Wisk and all. Sharon then became Marketing & Creative Services Director for the Girl Scouts of the USA (rebranding the organization & the cookie box for their 100th Anniversary) and later the PR & Marketing Director for the luxury wellness hotel group, COMO Hotels & Resorts before she continued her career in hospitality as Director of Marketing at Le Soleil d’Or, a boutique farm-to-table resort on Cayman Brac in the Caribbean. She received an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, is an alumna of Columbia University and NYU, and has also earned yoga teaching certifications from YogaWorks and Prenatal Yoga for Two.
