Serg is a former NASA contractor and Aerospace Engineer. During his time at Kennedy Space Center (KSC), he designed hardware payload modules for the Lunar Rover, Mars Rover, and International Space Station programs using his expertise in Solidworks and other CAD softwares. While working on the Lunar Rover project, Serg was introduced to Drs. Jacqueline Quinn, Robert DeVor, and Phillip Maloney – the co-inventors of what would become the SPEARS technology – and used his career experience as a design engineer to assist in developing the SPEARS technology for larger markets.
While he is an engineer by trade, Serg is a serial entrepreneur who has successfully founded and scaled multiple companies which addressed challenging needs in public, private, and government markets. In 2017, Serg founded ecoSPEARS and was entrusted by the NASA-KSC Office of Technology Transfer with the exclusive license to SPEARS technology.
Serg received his Bachelors in Aerospace, Aeronautical & Astronautical Engineering from the University of Central Florida in 2003 and his MBA from the Rollins College Crummer Graduate School of Business in Operations & Technology Management in 2010.
