I got my start in Digital Marketing working as an intern for Elite SEM in San Francisco. Through auditing, building and optimizing multiple eCommerce retailers' Search Engine Marketing (SEM) accounts, I gained an understanding of and working proficiency in SEM. Through AdWords certifications and through co-managing multi-million dollar annual advertising budgets, I learned the ins and outs of media planning, ad operations, campaign optimization, reporting and client services. Promoted twice during my time at Elite SEM to the level of Account Manager, my responsibilities expanded from eCommerce / Google Shopping advertising to the fastest-growing subset of Digital Marketing: Mobile Apps. This expanded my core competency beyond just the pages of Google Search, to other leading app-install platforms like Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, and numerous mobile advertising networks. In 2016, curious to see what working for the publisher side of the mobile marketing industry was like, I made the switch from working at my prior agency to working at Ibotta in Denver. I am currently employed as a Senior Growth Marketing Associate at Ibotta, where I assist with growing Ibotta's user base across a myriad of user acquisition sources. I've been a part of GA panels/classes in the past as a visitor/student, and have always found them to be a great way to learn more about various new-media industries from people who are actively employed in them. I am both excited and honored to be sharing my knowledge of Digital Marketing with GA attendees in 2016 and beyond!
