Sarkis Kalashian
VP of Product, American Express
Sarkis began building (and breaking) stuff on the computer and the Internet as a teenage kid. Currently, he leads a product team that oversees the global (across 25+ markets) online experience such as Payments and Account Management that B2B and B2C customers use to manage their financial relationship with American Express. In the past 10+ years, Sarkis has worked in product in various capacities, from heading up the digital practice at a health education non-profit to founding his own social media company. He enjoys solving difficult problems by working with people, technology and design.
When he’s not doing product-things, he’s working on his sneaker collection, obsessing over music, discussing culture or some other abstract topic, exercising, traveling, or napping.
Sarkis graduated from University of California, Berkeley with degrees in Philosophy and Political Science.
