Start-up, travel and rugby junky - Sara began her career after college in Canada. Nomad at heart, she traveled to London, England where she got her first taste of recruiting in 2007 - pairing graduating MA students into internships. Sara moved to Boulder, CO from San Francisco, CA and brought her Silicon Valley hustle with her. She has recently joined SendGrid - a CO success story out of TechStars - focusing on Finance, G&A, Customer Success and Marketing roles. She believes in collaboration with hiring managers, continuous feedback loops and pinning down the right profile the first time when it comes to recruiting. Sara also lives and breathes building and promoting her companies talent brand - from events, blog posts, career pages, panel discussions, social media and coffee meet-ups.
