Sara Carlson

Sara Carlson is a graphic designer with experience in both print and interactive design. Sara graduated from the University of Michigan in 2014 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts. During her time at Michigan, she interned as a graphic designer with Team Detroit and assisted in developing an international image for The Heildelberg Project, a Detroit-based community art project that is known worldwide.
After graduating, she moved to Washington, DC, where she used her design skills in advertising and marketing at two public relations firms. During her time in DC, she also took the User Experience Design class at General Assembly. She benefited from this class more than she could imagined and is excited to work as an Instructional Associate to share her own knowledge.
Sara moved to New York to pursue her master's degree this fall in Communications Design at Pratt Institute.
In her free time, Sara enjoys live music, playing tennis, and traveling.
