Sr. Experience Designer, Dollar Shave Club
Sam’s background in Industrial Design, coupled with his passion for technology, allows him to bring a unique blend of creative, strategic, production, and entrepreneurial skills to his work. As part of Dollar Shave Club’s Experience Design team, Sam facilitates user-centered thinking across their mobile platforms. His current work is focused on shifting consumer behavior by providing new and innovative mobile based solutions. Previous to Dollar Shave Club, Sam worked on a mix of campaign, product, and platform work for clients such as Google, ESPN, Zillow, TacoBell, Anthem, while working for agencies 72andSunny and Deutsch.
His work has been recognized by The One Show, The Webby’s, The Industrial Design Society of American, Fast Co., The Verge, TIME, Fortune, Engadget, and even tweeted about by the White House.
Sam also holds a position as Adjunct Instructor of Product Design at the University of Oregon and travels there annually to teach immersive workshops geared towards teaching Industrial Designers foundational principles of User Experience Design.
