One can argue that Rose has been designing learning experiences since the time she gave career advice to her dolls when she was five years old (because why not?). Since then, Rose has had a multifaceted career in various sectors, including: international education (she helped run an international school of 2,000 kids from 70+ nations) and corporate strategy & business development (she helped develop an award-winning learning experience for a Forbes Global 2000 corporation). She also co-founded an integrated marketing agency in her twenties. These days she's fully immersed in the international development sector, working for The Education Commission, a global initiative to achieve the UN Sustainable Development Goal 4: inclusive and quality education for all. The Commission is led by Gordon Brown, United Nations Special Envoy for Global Education and former Prime Minister of the UK.
Rose is a global-thinking human and proudly Filipino, graduating with honors from the University of the Philippines and Harvard University. She enjoys designing learning experiences across audiences, cultures, and contexts. Learning goes beyond what we learned in the four walls of a classroom. Learning is the process of developing new or preexisting knowledge, behavior, skills, values, and mindsets. We are in a constant, dynamic state of learning, re-learning and un-learning.
