As an emigrant from Sweden at the age of 10, Becca landed in Silicon Valley with her family just as the tech scene was taking off. She became part of the OG wave of California transplants to Austin, where she graduated from the University of Texas with a degree in Communication & a passion for people-centered work.
Becca brings a strong background in Human Resources, Process Improvement and Recruiting, which she began to hone in her time working abroad for IKEA in Poland and Belgium. She has since worked for a start-up consulting firm, the tech giant, Google, and is currently a Talent Acquisition Manager at Slalom, a firm that’s modernizing the traditional model of consulting. She brings significant experience advising early career and tenured professionals on how to market themselves on LinkedIn and how to optimize their resumes to stand out in the recruiting process.
In her downtime, she enjoys being a part-time photographer, schooling her husband in table tennis, and playing hide-and-seek with her nieces and nephews.
