Rachel Duffy started in hospitality like most people in this industry as a part-time job while at school, then to pay her way through University, where she completed a degree in Management and then as a means to support her international travel in her early 20’s. After all these years she realised she had a passion for the Hospitality Industry and started managing Restaurants in Sydney in the mid 90’s. Since 2005 she has worked side by side with Restauranteur Maurice Terzini to open the infamous North Bondi Italian Food and Giuseppe Arnaldo & Sons, Melbourne. She took over as the General Manager of Icebergs Dining Room and Bar in 2009 and opened Da Orazio Pizza + Porchetta in 2014 as a partner in the restaurant. Recently Rachel took over in a Group GM role over all the Terzini venues in Sydney.
Rachel has a deep understanding of the ever changing hospitality industry, particularly in terms of recruitment and people management. She acknowledges that technology creates opportunities and that the world is a smaller place creating amazing possibilities in people resources but believes that Culture is the Key for all good businesses.
