Toronto
A French designer with a background in landscape architecture and now reconverted as a product designer in the no-code space. My design journey started with a fascination for solving outdoor spatial issues ranging from private gardens to city parks. While the design challenges were stimulating, I wanted to apply my skills to more significant and impactful issues. That's when I started researching other industries or areas of design where I could find what was missing in my career. Tech was the answer. I took a leap of faith and dived headfirst into that exciting space by applying to General Assembly UX Design Bootcamp. After three unbelievable but challenging months, I jumped onto the job market feeling empowered and prepared to make a difference. My strategy was to gain as much experience as possible doing freelance and volunteering. After working on projects ranging from an NFT marketplace, a tech real-estate platform, an online non-profit, I finally reaped the rewards of my hard work. GA was the pivotal decision of my career, and it has been both my best and most terrifying decision. I'd love to answer any questions that could help you identify what you can do to dive too!
