Quaison (“Kway-sun”) Carter is a marketing strategist, consultant, educator, and Managing Director at Built Within.

Since 2015 Quaison has been an instructor at General Assembly, helping to build and facilitate the digital marketing curriculum on and off-campus with courses that range from SEO, Paid Search/Social, Analytics, CryptoCurrency, and marketing strategies.

As founder and managing director of Built Within, Quaison leads a team of marketers and consultants that help startups and fortune 500 companies like Unilever develop their internal marketing teams with agency services, training, development, and consulting. Built Within also works with smaller businesses and consultants to own their marketing in-house with 6-week boot camps and consultant training.

Previously, Quaison was the Head of Marketing at creative agency Hungry, which FIG later acquired. He oversaw all Organic and Performance marketing for clients including Macy’s, Virgin Atlantic, Benjamin Moore, Bright Health Insurance, and others.
