Pip has over 13 years in ed-tech and is currently Global Head of Impact at Forte, a social impact financing organisation that works with governments across the globe to support marginalised individuals to re-skill and enter the tech workforce. Prior to Forte, Pip headed up Technology and Efficacy teams across Asia Pacific for Pearson Education, a global FTSE-100 company.
An early researcher of online communities, Pip achieved her Doctorate in 2005 on the emergence of social networking and how it challenged traditional notions of community, the adoption of technology and diffusion of innovations. Pip is a proud Women in STEMM advocate and in 2018-19 participated in an Antarctic expedition and leadership development program for female STEMM leaders, experiencing first-hand the power that greater diversity can bring to solving the world’s most intractable problems.
