Mr. Philip KONG is a finance professional with over a decade of industry experience. After his early career at ING Financial Markets in the Netherlands, he moved back to Hong Kong in 2007 and worked in various front office roles on the buy side and on the sell side. Mr. KONG possesses deep understanding in how to operate in the financial markets. His expertise is processing voluminous financial data and perform data analysis. He was the Vice President of Institutional Sales at CCBI Securities, and currently is the Director of Institutional Sales at Shenwan Hongyuan Securities (HK) Ltd.
Mr. KONG obtained his bachelor’s degree in business administration (BBA) from the University of Hong Kong (HKU), majoring in Information Systems. He subsequently earned his master’s degree in science (MSc) from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST), majoring in Financial Mathematics. Mr. KONG is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and a Chartered Market Technician (CMT). He actively participates in the volunteering works of the CFA Institute. He is also a member of the Hong Kong Securities and Investments Institute (HKSI).
Mr. KONG lives in the HKSAR.
