Phil cut his teeth in the advertising industry at The Campaign Palace - getting a grounding in award winning strategic and creative thinking. Since then he has set up advertising training programs at Charles Sturt University and the University of Western Sydney. At UWS Phil introduced a Digital Media subject into the Communication course and won the Vice Chancellor's Award for Excellence for his work with new media. He began blogging and podcasting on his own projects outside of uni in 2008, his podcast making it to number 4 in the 'News and Politics' section of the itunes store. Phil is now lead trainer at Media School Sydney which focuses on how to use social media and blogging to promote creative projects, businesses, causes and personal brands. Phil's courses are creative, varied and thought provoking.
