Petrea is a full time Strategic Designer at Victorian School Building Authority. A former commercial lawyer, Petrea brings a wealth of knowledge and perspective to creative strategy, marketing and design. Katarina is a full time Designer at award winning advertising agency Leo Burnett, Melbourne. Working for clients such as Jay Jays, Bonds and 7-Eleven, she is constantly tasked to work on nationwide campaigns for some of Australia's most well known brands.
Both Petrea and Katarina pursued careers in design after coming from unrelated (but extremely helpful nonetheless) backgrounds in law and political studies respectively. The impetus for creating TYO was driven by the professional and personal experience of both founders, and their desire to make key figures in the industry accessible to design students, graduates and the wider creative community.
