Perla began her career as a Business Analyst for Exxon, developing her process transformation sensibility and passion for automation. Her career path led her to senior management positions in some of the largest global B2B software companies, such as Oracle, Sapient and NCR as well as management consulting firms, such as Deloitte. Perla’s first entrepreneurial ventures were as a publisher of children’s books teaching African-American history, followed by ownership of an upscale clothing boutique, as well as producer of indie films and book publisher.
