Omar is originally from Caracas, Venezuela and moved to the US in 2014 after living in Buenos Aires, Argentina for 7 years. He currently lives in Los Angeles, CA with his wife Becca and their dog Oslo.
With more than 20 years of experience in entertainment, Omar currently works at Netflix, leading the Creative Strategy team for all Animation, which includes Kids & Family, Adult Animation and Expansive Anime. At Netflix he’s an active member of SOMOS, the Latinx Employee Resource Group. Before his current role, Omar was Creative Director for Telemundo, Sony Pictures International and Fox Latin America.
In his personal time, Omar mentors with Good City Mentors and enjoys yoga, salsa music, punk shows and horror films/literature.
