Nora Jones
Developer and Engineer, Alarm.com
Although the singing career didn't pan out for her as her name would imply, she's found a genuine passion in learning everything she can about data and technology. Starting out programming during her undergrad, studying Computer Engineering at Virginia Tech, she's built her passion from there. She finds that teaching others more about programming, technology and data not only helps others unlock their own passions, but helps her to see things in a different light as well - making us all approach data and programming in a unique way. Believing that everyone can utilize programming knowledge, from a career in marketing to working in statistics; she tailors her teaching style so that you can bring these techniques to your day-to-day work. Nora currently works as a Quality Software Engineer at Alarm.com, a home security and home automation company in Northern Virginia.
