I set up FFFA in 2014 with the aim of feeding the body while nourishing the mind and soul. In 2020, becoming a registered charity meant that we are held more accountable while transparency between donors and the clients we aid is encouraged. We run several programmes including addressing Food Waste amongst the Singaporean community. Moving forward, FFFA is looking to secure more collaborations, especially with corporate organisations. Our partnerships ideally focus on two key areas, sustainability and psycho-social support. For instance, start-ups and companies dealing championing meatless food and/or waste reduction can partner with us to distribute or sponsor FFFA’s plant-based Ready-To-eat (RTEs) meals via www.rte.org.sg. Like other charitable organisations here and overseas, our client lists have increased drastically since COVID-19. How can we empower them? Greater engagement with people and educating them at all levels are crucial. This is the core mindset we want to achieve with all present and future collaborations in the key areas aforementioned so as to nurture a more cohesive community.
