Nick Velazquez is a designer and wearables enthusiast in Brooklyn. He started his career at Bloomberg — a financial software, data, and media company — in 2011 and began working in technology development in 2012. He recently transitioned into a UX / UI design related role and has experience in mobile app and web design, as well as print and digital strategy. He also has an engineering background from Columbia University and possesses Javascript experience. Nick took the UX Design part-time course at General Assembly in July 2014 and is eager to help as an Expert in Residence.
