Muhsin spent a rather long time in academia collecting a degree in biochemistry and genetics and a PhD in neuroscience. Being unsuccessful in gaining a position as a mad scientist, he worked as a data analyst across a variety of industries including in government, not-for-profit, retail and banking. He employed open-source tools to wrangle data into tidy meaningful formats to aid decision-making. Muhsin currently works at Mable as a senior analyst and wears hats and colourful Converse shoes most of the time.
