    Monica Badgett received her BA in Psychology Social Psychology Research from Wilberforce University in Wilberforce, Ohio, and holds a master’s in Organizational Leadership with an emphasis in Strategic Innovation and Change Management at CSU-Global Campus. She is a native of Colorado and works for Denver City and County, Denver Economic Development and Opportunity/Denver Workforce Services as an Education and Training Liaison/ Program Administrator/. With over 27 years of experience in working with employers/community members and 16 years with the City and County of Denver, she works closely with community-based organizations, on the national and local levels and serves on various committees. Ms. Badgett has also facilitated and designed workshops for various organizations to promote inter-departmental effectiveness, cooperative office relations, streamlining of service deliveries, and performance management structures. She has also conducted and designed presentations and workshops on cultural diversity, interpersonal relationships, bullying, self-esteem, and health-related issues nationally and in the Northeast Denver Community. In her work, she has also managed various county grants, such as DEI (Disability Employment Initiative) creating additional pathways to re-integrate community members with disabilities back into the workforce. She currently is also an ADA Liaison for Denver Economic Development and Opportunity agency. Her community efforts include developing and executing program objectives and processes for a non-profit organization for community families and women, while continuing to be active in organizations such as Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated, Denver Alumnae Chapter, Full Circle Intergenerational Project Incorporated, and part of the Founding Family of Monarch Montessori Charter School in Far-Northeast Denver, and is one of the Co-Chairs for the African American Commission for the City and County of Denver.
