Mona is a creative facilitator based in San Francisco. In 2014, she co-founded Collective Capital, a company that combines the tools of improvisation and design thinking in customized workshops and consulting engagements to help teams create a culture of innovation. She has a BA from Stanford University and has performed theatrical improv in 21 cities around the United States.
Mona’s perspective on EQ comes from her experience in the world of improvisation. Many of the skills improvisers develop - noticing their presence onstage, noticing and relating to others, expressing and managing a range of emotions - are the foundational skills of emotional intelligence, and improvisation-based exercises are a uniquely effective way to develop and practice these skills.
