Mitch Warnick is an outdoor photographer who emphasizes, above all, the experience of the wild. After growing up and earning a B.S. in Geology in the southeast, the mountains called and he moved to Colorado in 2012. Since moving here, he has worked in the satellite imagery industry, earned a Master of Environmental Management focusing on Wilderness management (with a healthy dose of environmental philosophy), and worked as a program manager for Leave No Trace. His experiential outdoor photography has been featured by a variety of organizations like Mountain Standard, Crested Butte Wildflower Festival, and the Gunnison Country Times. All of these experiences and perspectives have helped his photographic vision evolve into what it is today and he recently founded Wilderness Mitch Photography to focus on his craft even further.
