Mike M. Moore founded tres birds workshop in 2000. The workshop has been dedicated to designing and building architecture that lowers embodied energy, promotes sensory awareness and ultimately nurtures the relationship between humans and nature. The Earth’s natural systems are tres birds workshop’s main project collaborator, as they seek to replicate these symbiotic interactions throughout their architecture practice.
Mike's career formally began at the University of California at Berkeley where he studied both Environmental Biology and Fine Art. With a desire to merge both ecological systems science and modern design principles, he completed a Masters in Architecture at the University of Colorado at Denver.
