Michelle once entered a Lego building competition in Pitt St Mall and won 1st Prize, building a spaceship without any instructions. She was 7. Since then, her accomplishments have only gotten more and more impressive.
Despite her early success in Lego building, Michelle realised that she needed some professional training and so she completed a Bachelors in Media Communications at UNSW. She now has over 10 years of experience across a vast range of digital products at top tier companies including working for - Universal Music, Amazon, VMLY&R and Akcelo.
The most enjoyable part of any job that Michelle has had was teaching and mentoring and so she decided to take it to the next level. And that level was a Scuba Divemaster. When she realised the ocean paid very little, she decided to turn her joy to teaching at General Assembly where she has been teaching for the past 12 months.
Her passion for UX is derived from applying a method to the madness that is our world and watching different paths evolve. She still hangs out with the her fishy friends every Saturday morning and loves to observe them living their fishy lives.
