Michaella (Miki) Twersky is an Interaction/Product designer based in NYC. She employs her background in software development, creative writing, and a knack for linguistics to inform and continuously develop her design methodology. Principally, she maintains that empathy and communication are the two most important aspects of design (or work) of any kind. During her 5-year career, she's worked for organizations including Kaplan Test Prep, The New York Times, and Google. Her alma maters include Skidmore College (BA) and Pratt Institute (MFA). In her spare time, she enjoys reading, designing wax-carved jewelry, and writing and performing music.
