Michael Lopez Jr. is the Interim Treasurer of the afrolatin@ forum and has served as a board member and co-chair of the afrolatin@ forum, supporting it's operations and development endeavors. He has worked on education strategies, post secondary outcomes for first generation college students, and workforce development as a non-profit leader for 15 years. During this time he has committed to stand in solidarity with vibrant communities; investing in the people of the South Bronx, East Harlem, Suffern, N.Y. and the West side of Chicago. Michael is dedicated to bridging opportunity gaps alongside marginalized people as they develop their communities.
